Removing the Dog house is easy on most gasers. Look for the obvious it does sound like a vacuum leak. With that said if you don't know what you are looking at what good does it do to look? Hire an RV mech for an hour or so to check things out in the engine compartment if he is any good he should be able to find your problem and recommend fixes in that time. good luck Don't let the criticism bother you most doing that knew everything even before they started RVing.
