In all honesty I'm embarrassed by the number of clothes I pack. I have this "what if " scenario that I can't seem to shake, and we've been RVing for over 25 years.
I have the same conversation in my mind every time we get ready to travel....what if it's cold, what if it's hot, what if it rains, what if I spill something on my sweater,my coat,my pants,my shirt, what if my shoes get wet?
I pack so many clothes that I even try to pack our RV when the neighbors are inside so they won't see the armloads of clothing that I'm packing- for a trip that they know usually lasts a week or less.
The only thing I can say in my defense is that I don't expect my DH to haul the clothes to or from the RV, I do it all myself. His job at that point is to wipe that smirk off his face. After 25 years he is almost successful.
