Though most of my pleated shades were still working after over a decade of use in my 2001 Newmar DP, I replaced all of them with MCD manual shades 6 years ago. Of those 7 MCD shades, 3 do not work. I've adjusted (or tried to adjust) them several times. No more MCDs for me, and apparently other folks . . . see this IRV2.com thread.
