A book? No, but there is the RVIA which sets the standard for the industry. If their definitions are not clear enough for you (if it is built on a cutaway chassis, it is a Class C), you can go to their photo gallery:

Go on down the list and you will see many examples, including the Winnebago View Profile and the Navion iQ.
My first rig was a Class B, and there really isn't much similarity to my lovely little Class C from LTV... even though they use the salesman term of "B+."
