Mumkin is right and not only about the Midwest. Service is fifteen miles from me in Oklahoma City. Heading west the next factory authorized service (for warranty) is Albuquerque. That's 550 miles!! From Albuquerque north, next stop Denver. That's 450 miles, getting closer but no cigar. I would love to have a Sprinter based unit, but the distance between authorized service is just too great for me. Yes, I know they are reliable. Still, break down in many places and find yourself looking at a 250 mile tow. I don't need that when there is a Ford dealer in every county seat.
Hopefully, MB will improve that situation and in many states there are plenty of dealers for service.
