Since you're now smelling gas in the rv, you're probably going to have to survive the night without the furnace.
If your electric heat can keep the rv warm, see if you can get the furnace fan to run to circulate some heat to the tanks/plumbing down below. If this doesn't work, then maybe you can place a small electric heater or 120 volt light (for heat) in the wet bay.
