As I'm getting ready to go a pickup truck squeezed in there and was making a right turn next to me! I ended up catching up to him in city traffic; I gave him the what-are-you-thinking look.
I saw a biker try that move with a semi in California. The biker never made that mistake again. The trucker never saw him and dragged the trailer wheels over top of him. The trucker had his directional on and had only left about a half car width in the right lane, but the biker still tried to squeeze through. Not something I would want to see again.
