I drive 35000 plus miles each year. Many types of roads, rural and urban. When in the big city areas it's just nuts anymore. It wasn't always that way either. There are people on the road that have no business being there for a number of reasons. Some don't even speak English, yet are expected to read and understand the rules and driving laws.
There are some places I must drive to weekly and try my hardest to ignore all the crazy drivers and avoid the usual road rage that is the norm anymore. I leave my home extra early and return back across town when most are working to avoid all the nonsense. People don't respect others peoples space anymore. It's the - in your face attitude.
Many of the nuts are looking for a sucker to give them a excuse to go nuts on you. Blowing a horn these days should be well thought about first. Unless it's to stop a immediate accident it probably isn't worth it, just to tell someone they're a jerk. PPPPPP. Nobody plans ahead anymore and is a hurry to get to there destination for one reason or another.
One time traveling in our MH , in the right lane minding our own business not holding anyone up, this guy comes up on our left and proceeds to enter into my lane before he even passes our front end, checked his brakes about a 4 feet from my left front corner. He immediately floored it and sped off going back to the lane he came from. I honestly believe that nut was trying to cause a accident for no reason at all. There was no prior issues with anyone on the freeway leading up to it. Dash cam was added to MH and cars.
