Does an induction cooktop run off of the inverter or is it genset only if not plugged in. I am referring to a cooktop in a large DP. Tiffin, Newmar, or Berkshire. thanks
It would depend on how beefy the inverter (and battery bank supplying it) are, I suspect. It may be necessary to have a 240V inverter in some cases. Most or all of the RV-specific designs are 120V I think, so it would just be a question of having sufficient power available to run it, similar to a microwave.
