Inexpensive Wireless Backup Camera - progress
Quick post with three photos. I took a chance on an inexpensive wireless backup camera from eBay. Mounted on the back:

Nothing special about the mounting. Hardest part was drilling the hole. Not that the material was hard, just convincing yourself to drill a large hole in a wall that has no holes, is difficult. :)
I mounted it lower than you'd expect. It's about head-high. Two reasons, one is I wanted to be able to clean it off without climbing a ladder and two - that was the best access for running wires.
When it came to wiring, I tapped into the right tail light and a 12V coach battery power source. Since I had things open I decided to add a terminal block with several power options in case I wanted to change my mind.

And finally, I'm still working on the best way to mount the monitor in the cab. I did decide early on that I wanted the ability to power up the camera without being in reverse. And I like that - I can use it to get a better sense on the safety of changing lanes.

The image quality is fine. It won't compete for Blu-ray but it's more that adequate to see what's behind you.
The only complaint I have, so far, is that the wireless antenna on both, protrude out farther than I'd prefer. I ordered an inexpensive flexible antenna extension cable and I'm going to see if that gives me more room behind the monitor.
This camera was about $80 from eBay.
Shipping was fast.
