And did you check this out with your state insurance commission? The Missouri Department of Insurance grants them permission to raise rates. They also deny that permission now and then. They also handle complaints about insurance companies. And you say Progressive. Do you realize that there are seven difference insurance companies using the "Progressive" name in Missouri.

1. PROGRESSIVE ADVANCED INSURANCE COMPANY
2. PROGRESSIVE CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANY
3. PROGRESSIVE CLASSIC INSURANCE COMPANY
4. PROGRESSIVE DIRECT INSURANCE COMPANY
5. PROGRESSIVE MAX INSURANCE COMPANY
6. PROGRESSIVE NORTHWESTERN INSURANCE COMPANY
7. PROGRESSIVE PREFERRED INSURANCE COMPANY

And they all have a different complaint index determined by the Missouri Department of insurance. You really should check with your state's department of insurance web site before buying any type of insurance. Amazing what you can find there!
