You will find large discrepancies between insurance rates from state to state, county to county and even city to city.
I went with National General Insurance (formally GMAC). They reduce my rate if I put my unit in storage and then allow me to take it out with a phone call. I have had no claims but what contact I have had with them as been very positive in terms of customer service.
While in storage they let me take it to the dealer (reinstated full coverage for 24hrs) with no additional charges.
So, is the same thing for me to have it stored at my house or is it somehow different than storing at a facility....do you know?
