AARP saved us a bunch vs. SF.

About all you can do is call around. Things change so much from state to state, city to city and even zip code to zip code.
Make sure you are getting the same coverages for each quote.

That said, I had progressive but decided to do some checking and ended up with National General (Good Sam program formally GMAC).

I did get coverages for cars, homes, and motorhome. Saved me substantial dollars.

In 31 years you've never called around to compare prices? We do so every two years or so and always find one better.

No two people will be the same. Insurance is based on many factors - age, where you live, driving record, how much insurance you want, what your vehicles are, etc. The best thing for you to do is just to start calling around. Good luck!

We've had our coach insured by Foremost Ins. Co. now for 19 years. During that time we've enjoyed great hassle free claim service from them.

IMHO..insurers treat new customers better than existing ones as far as premium pricing. Had GS (Nat. Gen.) many years ago and changed after five years for a much lower premium. Went back to GS( GMAC bought by Nat. Gen.) a few years ago. Again, for a lower premium. Will start quote hunting in another year or two.

I have progressive and got a quote from Good Sam (what ever it is) and it was about $1000 more for less coverage----my neighbor had the same results so he insured with progressive also. This was 2 weeks ago.

We went from Progressive, which doubled in (5) years with no claims, to Blue Sky which saved us around $800 per year. You really should consider insurance companies that specialize in RV coverage and not those that cover homes, personal vehicles, etc. Here are some links for you to use for obtaining quotes for your particular RV.

As others have said, you really should check/get quotes from other companies about every 2-3 years and compare prices. Won't cost you anything but your time to do this.

I have had and continue to have State Farm on my vehicles since I have been old enough to drive. Also have it on my home. However, when it came to the motor home, they came in at almost twice the price as Progressive for the same coverages.
