Eh, I think i'm going to keep the existing wall for now... going to cut some blocks of wood to secure the mid-bottom better. I got a good look behind it and all the wiring causes it to pooch out. There is a cross-member above mid-high, then nothing below that.. take that wire pressure add 10 years and someone screwing a shelf to the already weak wall and you get trouble :-)
