Just when you think you have problems I see a 5th wheel and truck overturned on I 80 just over the Iowa border. The truck was totaled but the people looked OK. I just checked my sway bar bushings and bolts they were tight and were replaced with poly bushings in 2007. Could anything in the wheel make this intermittent noise?
I would think that if the noise was in a wheel component, it would be constantly present. A noise that happens with a yawning motion seems to indicate that it is a suspension issue and more so when the suspension is extended, rather than compressed(pot hole).
You may try lifting the front end to where the front tires are off of the ground and see if you see, or hear, anything binding.
With the front wheel hanging, a long 2x4 underneath the tire my be used to create some lift on the wheel itself to see if you can duplicate the noise.
