A couple years ago I had a similar problem: battery light showed full charge, put a volt meter on it, showed 13+ volts, but flip on any load, and the battery wouldn't support it. Took the battery to the nearest auto parts place and asked them to test it. Guy stuck the meter on it, it showed 13+ volts, then he applied a load and the voltage collapsed like a house of cards in a hurricane. Took the load off, right back up to 13+ volts. Bought a new battery, problem solved.
