Over the years I have blown up two 24-inch fans, one electric blanket controller, several motor driven and transformer driven items get exceptional hot using the MSW INVERTERs.. I finally got me a duty AIMS 600WATT PURE SINE WAVE INVERTER for my home entertainment and emergency items like NOAH WX Weather Receiver, fans, cell phone chargers, computer chargers, and a few other items.
NO way would I plug my electronics into a MSW Inverter. Years past it was because of of higher price for the PSW models. Thats not true anymore...
To each his own I reckon...
I have two locations in my trailer that has a multi-port 120VAC receptacle that is powered by my always on 600W PSW Inverter($149 AMAZON). Being PSW I have no fear of what might get plugged into the two receptacles and going up in blue smoke.
To the users who claim they have not ever had a problem using MSW Inverter to me is like the Wichita Falls farmer backing out into traffic on Texas Route 79 south of town like he has done every day for the past 30 years. Then a tractor trailer runs over his old pickup truck. I was behind the tractor trailer truck and had to do a hugh invasive run down the bar ditch to miss the may-lay... No one hurt but the farmers old truck was destroyed... His comment to the police was "I have been doing this for the past 30 years - The truck driver should have known I would be backing out into the the road"
