inverter

When I would turn on batteries I would hear a click and I would have power before, and with the batteries turned off I would have no power to anything. Now with batteries turned off and when I plug in to power all 110 is working. Can not turn off 110, and I get no clicking sound when I turn batteries on or off, any ides? (2003 Thor Mandalay)

Do you have an INverter your trying to use to power some 120VAC appliances. Or do you have a CONverter your trying to charge the battery with and use 12VDC lights etc?
Either way, dead battery is first thing to check.

that's not what he said at all.Hes confused about 120V verses 12V on the Inverter issue
he does not realize that the inverter only works when no 120V is available he does not realize the system is only on the 12V side of things
Battery not dead he clearly told us that its turned off
    Now with batteries turned off

you plug into 120V power so why would u want to turn off?? makes no sense
If your plugged in and really want to turn off power just flip the 50 amp breaker to off in your main panel
you wont get clicking because inverter does not invert when on120V power theres a transfer switch in the inverter so even if inverter says on its not inverting invertion only works on 12V and only when no 120V is available
so with your 12v turned off nothing on the 12V side will work but all the 120V stuff will because your plugged in
turn on your 12v disconnect and everything will work
