I would agree the lifestyle costs money but is subject to a lot of factors but the alternative is looking out the living room window for 25+ years. So many pay land tax, rent, condo fees and never leave the neighborhood except for medical reasons in retirement while trying to just pay for food. If that is what happens to us financially then so be it but definitely not by choice. Our country's are big places with a lot of great people and places. If you don't smoke, drink, gamble and own a house the money available is surprisingly abundant. Choices within your means.
