Phil, that last picture was taken up in the gold country of northern California, {Grass Valley/Nevada City} about a month after we bought the coach on our first trip (a 4,200 mile 6 week, 6 state, break it in right adventure). :B
Shortly after returning I added the Max Air power vent over the rear queen and the Max Air vent cover over the forward hatch. We love having them both as it allows for good air flow regardless of the weather and protects the vents. Here is shot of the roof (this one taken last May at my BIL's place in MA):
As far as the skylight in the shower there's no sign of any impending damage yet but the coach is only 3 years old. I use 303 protectant and it seems to be doing a good job so far but I do go up on the roof on a regular basis just to keep an eye on things.
