is STICKNBOND the new ETERNABOND

I went to a privet RV repair shop, and to camping world in Kissimmee to day. Both had a product called STICKNBOND. they both said it the new name for eternabond. The eternabond web side doesn't say anything about sticknbond, but other web sites say its the same thing. Is it the same thing???
  • Why? Advertising 101, gets everyone talking new about an old product. This post is a perfect example. :w

Hopefully they didn't change anything on how it's made.
  • Yes, why is the question. I understand selling smaller rolls to increase profits. But, why change the name of of a well known product?

STICKNBOND sounds like some cheap junk advertised on late night television...

Maybe Eternabond will start selling salad spinners and cat toys? :B
  • WHY? "packaged in smaller quantities" like the man said. Hopefully you will buy more of the "smaller". (perhaps at the same price as the former size?)

    Follow the money
  • From the PPL website:

"Eternabond products are now packaged in smaller quantities under the name Sticknbond. Produced with the same Microsealant Technology, these products are an easy-to-use, one step, peel and stick process."

    Eternabond (now Sticknbond)
  • Interesting, if you look up Eternabond on Amazon you get: Sticknbond

OTOH, I just bought a 3'X50' roll of Eternabond and it still said E-bond but the rest of the package looks exactly like SNB stuff.
