- mtofell1ExplorerA quick search on RV Trader shows that is no screaming deal, despite the poster's opinion. That falls pretty much in line with the others which all seem high compared to the NADA value.
The key to not losing your butt with RVs is buying them right. After buying/selling a half dozen RVs over the years and shopping pretty much non-stop (just kind of a hobby) I've found a given unit is worth about 50% of the msrp in the 3-4 year old range. That puts your prospective coach around 50-55K.
Most sellers have their heads in the clouds because they paid far too much originally. These are the same folks pissing and moaning about massive depreciation. Yes, RVs depreciate. But nowhere near what the herds of unskilled shoppers that frequent this board will lead you to believe.
btw.... what makes it "mint"? It's 3 years old. Anything less than mint is likely called abuse :) - Ralph_CramdenExplorer II

NADA low retail value is $50,900.
And most dealers would be happy to give one about $35K on trade, slap it out on the lot with a big yellow label at average retail, then ultimately sell for $50.9 K or so. - Ralph_CramdenExplorer II

Exactly - Ranger_SmithExplorerI wouldn't buy a Thor Ace if it were the last RV available in the world and someone "gave" me the $$$ to buy it. It is a big POS. Just read an article somewhere how the whole thing is stapled together and basically sub par construction.
- Dale_TravelingExplorer IIAt least $10K over priced but I suspect the listed price is about what the seller owes the bank considering the indication of a bank lien with regards to the vehicle title.

but it is a Thor. the quality goes in before the name goes on. you bet.
bumpy - Dick_BExplorerIs it really the RV you want? IMHO that factors into the price because a `deal' on an RV that doesn't work for you is not a deal.
- Tom_BarbExplorerMy sister bought one of those, in two years it has virtually fallen apart, not a single system in the rig has had no problems.
- luberhillExplorerWow,, so are the Thor class C junk too ?? What’s a good well made brand ?? Winnie ?
