- Dog_TrainerExplorerultimately I think the future will be in Hydrogen powered Big trucks and maybe rvs Just got to figure out how to make it safely
- LwiddisExplorer IIExciting progress. I look forward to further developments.
- BumpyroadExplorerwith the many electrical issues folks here have had with electric service at campgrounds, plus the fact that many here blacktop boondock with no facilities, it is an impractical idea. now if they could make it driverless so everyone can sit in the lounge area, drink soda pop, and watch TV it might work.
bumpy - gboppExplorerOr, is it the future for Fifth Wheels?
- wildtoadExplorer IIUltimately I think the answer will be yes, but it will be years down the road. 500 miles seems like a lot and it is. The infrastructure investment by campgrounds, truck stops, etc to provide adequate charging will be a roadblock especially for those that just overnight somewhere. I’ve usually found that the chassis parts of the ones I’ve owned have been good. Not so much for the house components on some.
- Dennis12ExplorerIf it is an RV get your wallet out. Probably better off buying gas or diesel. also if it is a RV it will still will be built as cheap as possible, and with no quality workmanship or self pride in the workmanship. It's sad for what you pay for them.
