Itasca Spectrum (1982)
I get terrible mpg. 9 mpg. Others I meet say they get 12 to14. A. I am a terrible driver B. something is wrong C they are fibbing :) I love it but it is indeed thirsty

The Spectrums were a few thousand pounds lighter than comparibles. Single rear wheels and fiberglass front end. Lighter components thruout the entire chassis. Plus, no overhead bunk.
These were designed and made during the eighties gas crunch, remember.
