Jack light is on?

My jack down light is on. It's the red light on the dash. All the jacks are up. Weird part is the key is off. I've never seen it on with the key off. It was kind of flickering but now it just stays on all the time. I have a 2003 Itasca Sunova. Ideas?

  • Dexron 3 or you can buy the manufactures suggested oil.
  • Update:
Went out this morning and the light is off now
    ?????
Did one of you guys come fix it while I was sleeping?

I've never seen the light on when the key is off so I don't know why (or how) it was on.

What kind of fluid do I use to top it off?

The "jack down" light is triggered by different means on different system.

What jacks do you have: HWH, Power Gear, other?

They say "level best" on the panel.

Check the fluid level in your hydraulic reservoir for your jacks. There is a float switch inside the reservoir that you can unplug if your ever out somewhere and don't have any fluid.

    x2
  • On our Coach the light coming on when the jacks are up is the low fluid warning.
