I recently bought a Harbor Freight electric impact wrench. I returned it for a refund after one use. I tried it on my 3/4 ton truck. It did loosen some nuts but not all. And the ones that didn't loosen got beat up by the hammering. I loosened them with a 4 way lug wrench and a cheater pipe. So that told me that if I have to choose between the two, I'll carry the old fashioned tool. As much as I wanted the HF thing to work. Now, maybe the Kobalt mentioned in this thread is stronger?
