> Good Sam Road Service, who will go where you go
Not really. They helped me yesterday on pavement, after a 40 mile trip on back roads.
The tire tech confirmed that they absolutely will not dispatch to anything off paved roads.
I set up a complete jacking system because I do a lot of travel off paved roads. Thanks for all the good info.
1. Might as well try inflator cans if the sidewall is undamaged. Two of them, truck size. I actually carry a tubeless tire repair kit (plugs) also, for my dirt bikes.
2. Viair 88P. Can run for 25 min @ 30 PSI @ 72 deg. Most can only run for a few minutes before they have to cool down. Always read the fine print.
3. Got a 12 ton jack per the advice above. The jack ram is 1.69 inches in diameter and and the top pad on screw extension is 1.58 inches. Unfortunately these jack pads only go up to 1.25 inches:

Here is one that can be welded on:

4. 22-inch lug wrench http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BO6MGQ?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01
5. I have a HF electric impact wrench for taking off dirt bike countershaft nuts. Will start hauling it in the RV. Got a 7/8-inch impact socket.
6. Rubber wheel chock, not shown
I tried it all out and it works:
Lot of gear, but I don't have any option for the kind of backcountry travel I do. Hope this helps others.
