OK, I will stick with the Jeep, looks like a redesign is in order for 2014?
I think you are making a good decision.
If you are considering the 4x4 4-door model, pay close attention to curb weight along with what you plan to store inside it. I think the current 2013 model gets close to 5000 pounds, and most motor home hitches these days have a 5000 limit.
And BE SURE to get a good tow brake system for it. I personally endorce what I installed on our 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4, called Unified by US Gear. Watch their promotional video. It's true. It really is an awesome brake system, extremely effective and has adjustable sensitivity while you drive. It is so effective, it actually helps slow down the motorhome when set to do so. I crank it up on those long multi-mile 7% grade decents.
I installed ours. Since motor homes are prewired, the installation isn't that difficult unless you get picky routing the wires in the tow vehicle like I did. I wanted it clean looking and I am happy with my efforts. Other than the vacuum pump, nothing looks out of place.
how hard is that thing applying brakes to your motorhome? if a jeep libertys brakes are slowing you down you will likely end up warping those rotors. probably should br stopping as a unit, not the "toad" vehicle doin all the braking.
