I must be lucky. I owned a Thor motorhome and now have a FR DP. Both were reliable and no major problems. It is a **** shoot. I've talked to Newmar owners and Tiffin owners and some have had significant problems. A Tiffin owner told me that his MH has more millage going up and down on the lift than horizontal on the highway, My good friend is on his third Newmar and has been stranded several times for more than a week. All three were problems. He keeps buying them because his friends have them and Newmar is very good at keeping their owners. I know Tiffin and Newmar have their acolytes who are quick to tout their brands or maybe they are employees paid to respond positively to anyone asking questions of which to buy. Not a bad move by the way if that's what they do.
Bottom line get the floor plan you like in a budget you can afford and pray a lot. Just MHO.
