We share your excitement!
Although we already have a 5th wheel on a seasonal lot, we are purchasing a 1982 Nu-wa motorhome tonight to feed our need to wander. I can't believe how excited we are!
Also from MN and stored indoors, this well-kept gem has only 40K+ miles on it, and it's obvious someone had a lot of love for it. It was only gently used by a sweet older couple. Every owner's manual and the original sales docs are available, along with a complete maintenance record.
We've got our flashlights, CO detector, tools and power cord ready for a full inspection, understanding that it's 33 years old and might still have hiccups. The fridge is a brand new Norcold and the tires are less than 5 years old. We'll decide how much we want to fix, if there is anything. I'll be reupholstering the plaid cushions and giving it a head-to-toe scrubbing, hoping to have it ready for an upcoming ROADTRIP!
Welcome to the forum and good luck to you!
