Sleepy,
This is a first for me as I am going to respond to a third message by a poster on the same day. I do not mind at all by the way and I am pretty sure that nobody else here will either. Most of us were born knowing all this - RIGHT!!
You did the right thing by coming here and starting to ask.
I often tell people that I got to where I am with help of many wonderful people along the way. I feel it is now my responsibility to repay the universe for that.
Your big problem will be vocabulary. Just like learning anything, you have to learn the names and TLAs for the subject.
First the TLA (Three Letter Abbreviations)
FHU - Full Hook Up - means that a site has Electic, Water and Sewer
30A & 50A - 30Amp (usually RV socket) and 50Amp Nmea 14-50 socket
WE only (well sort of) Water and Electric at site.
There are lots of others
Black tank or Holding tank, where the pot empties to, sewer water
Water tank or Potable tank, stores unused water
Gray tank or Sink tank, stores water that is not clean but not sewer
Shore Power, what you get from the post
City water, what you get all the time you are connected with a hose
Converter or converter charger, what keeps the house battery up and supplies the 12V power when on shore power or running your own generator (APU) if you have one.
Inverter uses 12DC (A lot of it) to supply 120V AC when it is otherwise unavailable.
This is just for starters, you will have a lot more to learn. As you seem to be literate and have an effective IQ, you can learn it all in pretty short term.
Most of all, go fun places and enjoy the journey.
