Learn from your experience. We have all done that at least once. Care in opening the door for the first time, after each trip, is always an adventure. We pack as securely as possible, but things happen...we try to keep breakables in the door as much as possible. Pickle juice gets everywhere when the jar breaks!!! Any device you can use will help to minimize calamities along the way! good luck
