Some years ago, while touring in Florida, we decided to go to the Keys for a few days. Looking at a MAP...we saw one road in...one road out. And that was the ONLY time we ever made reservations....In January/February. (Maybe we got lucky..but whenever we wanted to pull in for the nite...or a day or two, we just "arrived"...and always got a spot with full hookups.) But with the Keys, and that one road in/out...we took out our Trailer Life book and our KOA book...and found the KOA located about 15 miles from Key West. "Sugarloaf Key". After a 150 mile run....we wanted to KNOW we had somewhere to stay. We did. Tight spacing (inches from your neighbors when the awning and slide-out were deployed), no sewer (but their facilities were 1st class...as were their prices). However...it was Key West in the winter...they know they can get their prices...so they do. Had a great time in the 3 days we were there. My simple advise to you is...get on the phone! And g'luck!
