"KUDOS" to dirrectv.

I was having trouble setting up my dish at the campground this weekend (I have a different receiver that I was told would work as well as my old one) and I could not get a signal for the life of me. Very frustrated I remembered the Installer said if I had any troube to give him a call. I dug out the number called him, told him where we were (only 10 miles from our home camping and he said he'd come see what was wrong. Long story short, He gave me a new dish and went through the whole set up routine with me for the receiver. My old dish was a used one off of the nieghbors house. this all took place on Friday at 5PM.
I call that good service.

  • Well KUDOS to you for clearing that up for me. Should I edit it so nobody gets confused?
  • What's a "cudo"? Maybe you meant "kudos" a Greek word meaning "congratulation". The plural is "kudoi".
  • I've had DTV for 19 years on the S&B house and now on the MH. I had zero issues until they merged with AT&T recently. My bill included the cost of 7 movies I had watched in March. So I called and spoke with a rep and she also wondered how I could watch 7 movies on the same date and the same time 6 months ago, which I hadn't. She apologized and reduced my monthly bill by 50 bucks for a year and gave me NFL Sunday Ticket for a year free. My last bill reflected the 50 dollar reduction and I do have the NFL package so I am pleased.
  • Wow that is extremely rare these days. Give that guy some good feedback with DTV!
