The only time we had a problem with the KVH was when the batteries started getting a little older in the coach and the sat dish would just spin and spin looking for a signal. Turned out to be a low voltage situation that KVH was aware of because I found a Technical Bulletin on their website recommending adding an AC power supply instead of using the 12volt that it came with. Funny thing was when talking to KVH tech reps, they didn't suggest checking the power supply. I had to hunt it down on their own website. It was published March 24, 2008.
By the way this is a 12 volt system. Seems like not enough voltage, they say it takes atleast 12.5 volts to run on 5 amp? By the book, but KVH told me min. 13.5. So will try the 120 to 12.5. Fingers crossed.
