KwiKee Electric Steps
I have a 2004 Allegro with KwiKee steps that will not retract with the step sw. , the door closing or the ignition bypass, has anyone else had this problem ?

Our steps quit..Then worked....Then quit again and worked again...
Had checked the ground, etc.. (1995 Tiffin Allegro Bay)
Then they finally quit for good...
Of course we were on the road and getting ready to pull out when they quit the last time!
Since we were only 25 min or so from the house when they wouldn't retract I knocked out the clevis pin and tied them up in 2 places so they couldn't drop on their own...
Used the info published here and Auto Zone had one on the shelf...
2 hrs tops to make the switch out including a stop at Sonic for lunch!..
