KwiKee Electric Steps

I had the same problem it was the magnet switch in the door frame. Not saying that is your problem but it could be. If you order new ones stay with the color.

so long of the short the steps are stuck open?sounds like the controller went out
take the two motor drive wires and put 12V to one and ground the other and then reverse to see if u can get them in and out if so its most likely the controller
