I think it should be noted, the motor itself, rarely fails
The current limiting of the control board protects the motor
What usually fails, is in the gearing or linkage
There is an aluminum housing motor available, which is an exact match for my old motor, but I needed a new gear box, so I bought a matching set, even if the mating gear had not been broken, the new gear box would not mate with my old motor
If lubing does not fix it, then remove motor and gear box and examine them before ordering any replacement
