I had some structural problems with my steps also. After looking at the problem I decided to just correct the problem my way. I have a Monaco MH. It appears the MH designers didn't contact the step manufacturers. The step installation was terrible. I welded up some brackets and extra braces and they work great. No real cost just my labor. Probably a much better repair than I would have got from a dealer. My wife is disabled. I couldn't risk her falling even if we could have sued later. Just better to do it right. The steps were just screwed into flimsy material and sagged badly.
