Large pass thru in rear or MH

Thought I saw a FR3 from Forest River with that.

Not sure what you mean by full basement storage. My ACE has the passthrough and several basement storage bins. Some are very large, a few have utilities and LP.

A potential buyer really needs to see what the available space looks like in person and don't judge by the exterior door. My 2006 Hurricane has the large storage bay across the back of the coach but it stair cases over the rear chassis frame. The door is huge but the size of the bay as represented by the door is only about 24" deep. Over the frame the available height is about 1/2 or less of the door.

The second problem is how far behind the rear axle the storage is. I used to keep all kind of stuff back there, ten feet behind the rear axle along with my entire liquid load. Chairs, grill, tool kit, 50 gallons of potable water and such. That is until I had the coach weight checked. Only 100 pounds over weight for the axle but 1000 pounds under weight against the GVWR. Camp Chef grills are a bit heavy.

Ours has large bays on both sides and a large pass thru just behind the door which is behind the front axle (gas coach) It also steps up over the drive shaft. 2 bikes would fit but you would want something between them like a large piece of cardboard to make it easy to slide the top one out without catching petals, handlebars etc together. So - some may have that bay somewhere else other than the rear.

. By full basement storage I mean that the doors either open sideways or up and go across the whole lower section. The basement doors abut each other with about an 1/8 in gap in between. I have this now on my current MH with 2 pass trus. I am trying to find a MH with both types of storage . What I described as full basement and one with the large pass tru in the rear that goes under the bed. That rear pass tru looks to be about 3x3 ft.
