Leaking Radiator

I arrived for Christmas to discover that my upper radiator hose connection is leaking. It's not the hose. It is the pipe that goes into the top of the radiator. I never ran hot and, although it looks like a lot of water has leaked the level wasn't that low. I'm going to try to make it back home Next Saturday, 230 miles. I wonder if some JB Weld would hold it for one drive? From the stains on the radiator this leak isn't new. But, it looks like one I ought not ignore.

Any suggestions? I'm in Wilmington NC. 1990, Chevrolet P30 chassis class A. Anyone know of a good, honest shop that would do this job at a reasonable fee in or around Wilmington? We were going to head on down to Myrtle Beach for new years but, decided to go home after Christmas. Don't want to tempt fate too much..
  • Maybe you could find a radiator shop that could solder that fitting in place?

If you wire brush that area really good and wipe it down with acetone, you might get the JB weld to stick. It would be worth a try it it was me. After all it ain't 100 degrees outside.
