I replaced a bunch of my lights with 24 LED 5050 panels. I removed the old light bulb holder, and hooked up the wires to two plugs that came with the LED panel kits. Then removed the double sided tape backing, and applied to the silver part of the factory light fixture.
It worked great. I used 4 of them in the porch light. two of the panels on each side of my double lights in the bathroom, bedroom. For the living room, I had installed a 26 watt two tube florescent light back in 1999, and it is still there, works great, and is not as 'blue' as the LED panels. So I am keeping it for now. The kitchen has a 8 watt 12" long florescent, and it will light up the whole RV at night, when dry camping.
Also when the LED lights where $8 each (10 years ago) I recommended against them. This is because for the cost of 10 lights (back then at $80) you could expand the solar system with a 50 watt solar panel that will collect enough power to run those energy in-efficient factory lights. I still have most of my light fixtures as factory incandescent. Because they only run a couple of minutes per day, such as when looking for something in the basement storage, or running a light over the dash while looking for something. .
I bought my LED at
AliExpress.com and then search for 24 LED 5050 panel. You will get hundreds of results, then search by lowest price.
Good luck,
Fred.
