Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed today?
I never said, nor would ever say, this applies to all rigs. In fact, I listed which make, model and year it is. I simply listed what I found because I thought it might be helpful to others because Winnie makes a lot of coaches like this one.
If "many falsehoods" really exist in my post, try to be useful by listing them.
The ONLY falsehood you stated was that the Coach batteries would NOT charge from the chassis alternator and you stated that that was NORMAL until you fixed it. One other thing you stated but I did not catch was about the entry step. IF the step light is ON, you have a choice depending on the OEM. NON modified by the OEM, when you turn the step switch OFF to leave the steps extended so they do not open and close when you open the door the light will go OFF. Modified means that the OEM has added an extra switch so you can turn that step light on and OFF so at night, with the steps extended, you can leave that light ON so you can see better. BUT the Steps as built, and installed per Step instructions will turn that light off if the step on/off switch is turned OFF. So, if your light stays on and the steps stay extended, look for an extra switch that turns that amber light OFF. Doug
