Our new to us 1975 Revcon. We drove from where we bought it, got the mechanical areas checked out. Drove it 100 miles today to see how she did. We plan on using it regionally, 400 miles in any direction of Atlanta.
Why an older unit? Our sideline business is vintage clothing and accessories we sell on Ebay. We looked for over a year to find the perfect class A and this one fit the bill. It is built like a tank. No squeaks, leaks and it handles like a dream. Yes, it has issues but we know with hard work, time and money it will be a head turner.
The interior will be totally retro 70's as much as we can....down to the pots and pans. We will be replacing the "hardwood" plank flooring with a nice linoleum and the doghouse carpet with burnt orange shag. Already working on the 8 track stereo system, we will skip the TV set.
Dual twin beds and a pull out sofa for a 7 year old is perfect
Unfortunate that the fridge was not operational, that will be our only new thing. We are thinking of a smaller fridge and a wine cooler above it.
The drivers seat is not up to par, the passenger seat is missing so if anyone knows a good place to get them used it is appreciated. They will be reupholstered in brown.
Huckle,
If that is one of the Olds power Revco bread boxes, you want to get hooked up with the GMC group for engine parts and advice.
Our Celebration of Old Coaches will be in Shawnee OK and that is out of your 400mi radius. There may be others.
Best of luck
