Level - Store Switch

I recently purchased a 2012 Itasca Sunova 36V, and am wondering what the switch by the steps labeled "Level - Store" with autolevel in the center. The salesman didn't know for sure what it did and I haven't figure it out either. There is another similar switch in the compartment that has the plumbing fittings.

Thanks for any help.

  • If you did not get an "InfoCase" from the dealer(Not Winnebago??). You should contact a Winnebago/Itasca dealer to buy at least a manual and Leveling Operation Guide. You will need both.
I carry a laptop and have everything I could find on line saved on a flash drive. This in addition to a hard copy manual for the MH and Toad.

See the Leveling System Operation Guide
provided in your InfoCase for complete
    operating instructions. It also contains
    additional precautions, technical information,
and instructions for manual operation if a system
    failure occurs.
NOTE: When parking at an uneven site, always
park the front of the vehicle to the
downhill side. This allows you to level by
raising the front end rather than the rear.
Since only the rear wheels are locked
while in PARK, raising either one or both
of the rear wheels off the ground could
allow the vehicle to roll off the jacks.
  • From Winnebago Ind. 2012 Sunova manual.

    Auto Level Remote Switches:
In addition to the Leveling System Control
Panel, there are two additional remote switches
    for your leveling convenience.
These switches allow you to extend or retract
your jacks and observe them at the same time. It
also allows you to stop them suddenly, if needed,
without having to climb in and out of the coach.
The Auto Level Remote switches are located
just inside the entrance door and in the exterior
    service center.

    HOUSE/COACH BATTERY
    DISCONNECT SWITCH
    (COACH BATT)
    The House/Coach Battery Disconnect switch
lets you disconnect the house batteries from the
12-volt system of your coach during storage
periods to avoid battery drain by electrical items
that are hooked directly to the house batteries,
such as clock displays and radio memories, etc.
Always leave this switch ON while using the
    coach.
NOTE: Some electronic displays and memory
functions may need to be reset after
    power has been reconnected.
  • Read page 10-11 your manual.

Manuals are on Winnebago Ind. web site.

  • Auto levelers for rig. Push switch to activate and the system will automaticcally extend levelers. Push store and they will retract so you can drive the rig.
