Levelegs Jacks

My Levelegs pads are 10 in off the ground, does anybody know how far they will extend?
  • If they are hydraulic like power gear little less then the length of the cylinder there are in.
  • 12.8-15" inches. We have 1st generation Levelegs (see page 4), at present we have just had our 4th one fail in the past ten years of ownership, actually the same position has failed twice. We do not raise the wheels off the ground and have learned the hard way, it doesn't happen at that moment but shortly thereafter. Once when we had a tire changed by a road service using the Levelegs to raise the passenger side off the ground. And a couple of weeks ago a diesel shop used them to raise the coach high and blocked the tires to change the fan belt. A 4th 1st generation Leveleg failed the 3rd day after leaving the shop. The good news is a compatible leg can still be gotten from Atwood, however if the main control unit (brain) fails you must buy a complete system, unless the original legs have been replaced with 2nd generation Levelegs, since the 1st generation "brain" is no longer produced. The Levelegs are stabilizers not floor jacks. If you need to change a tire use a truck jack.
