I too have POWERGEAR. One of my jacks "let go" and I had oil on the pad. Of course, contacting POWERGEAR, I was informed that unlike other models of their jacks, mine were not rebuildable. At least they had no rebuild kit for it. So...I bought a new one. 600+ bucks. And of course, they would not sell to me....I had to go thru a dealer or retailer. THEY (dealer) got a commission for a phone call I just made. How much I don't know. And I did the install!
Later on, I had to replace 2 hydraulic hoses. One...a 7 footer that was cracked, and last year a 30 footer that had a hole in it. Things do wear out...and I think POWERGEAR puts out a good product. But their policy of not selling to ME...really gets me going.
