Leveling Jack problems

Newbie, Have a 2008 Damon Challenger 377. Only has 12000 miles on it. When i purchased it the seller told me there was a problem with the jacks and they would have them fixed. Dealer said it was the pump and replaced it. Still did not work and it was he solenoid. I purchased it anyway. I replaced the solenoid but still not fixed. Problem is this. Jacks dont move at all. Control panel shows jacks not retracted and rear jack light is on. Tried auto and manual but none of them move. reservoir is full, 12 volt measured at the solenoid. cant beleive two bad pumps. what am i missing? Wanted to get on the road 2 weeks ago.

    I like Doug's suggestion of going with HWH! Sorry to hear about your Lippert nightmare!

    CW doesn't have the best repair shop reputation. Recommend you check RVServiceReviews.com for shops in your area and check out the user ratings. It's doubtful that your CW will have a good rating, but I have seen that for a couple of them back east.

    Thanks everyone for the comments. I will be meeting with the tech to see what was found and what is recommended. A Second opinion is a great idea, however lining one up is difficult. This is busy season around here and it has taken almost three weeks to get this opinion. I am getting really jaded with service centers already. This is the second National recognized center that this unit has been to. The first one replaced the motor without checking to see if the less expensive solenoid was providing power to it. not impressed. They couldn't get the solenoid for three weeks. Took me three days to order, receive and install.

    $5000 isn't replace a couple of pieces it's replacing everything regardless if it's the problem or not. Plus even at retail prices for a complete system they padded the potential labor hours. Took me two days to do a virgin install in the driveway of a Quadra Bigfoot hydraulic system. I think you need a second opinion.

    The shop is CW. I am going to go meet with them and their tech to see what is going on. Even to replace the pump assembly new from lippert is only 2500 on-line and i cant beleive it is 2500 to install.

    You could go to CW and replace the entire system with an HWH for about
    $4000.
    1. LCI hoses have problems with lines breaking or have bubbles(prior to leaking), even less than 1 year old. Both the Orange and Black lines. We have had to replace up to 6 lines at one time on an LCI jack system due to this
    2. I doubt that the touch panel and ANY Jack needs replaced. A Jack needs replaced ONLY if it leaks. They are just shotgunning almost every part and wanting you to pay for it. I would get another more qualified shop to look at it. Doug

    Please tell us what jack make and model you have. They are not all the same.

    what could possible cost $5K to repair a jack systems that virtually almost new

    I had to have my pump replaced last May for the same issues. The shop that did the work said Lippert strongly recommended replacing the motor and that coupler together as a set. Had that done and mine has been fine since.
