A couple of tricks. I have discovered Google Earth will display altitude for where ever you hover with your mouse. This will allow you to preview the campsite ahead of time so you can plan. I camped at Lake Monroe in Indiana and found there was a 1 foot drop from one side of the drive to the other. I built ramps out of boards that gave me 8 inches of lift. Drove up on the ramps, and then lifted another few inches with the jacks. I am quite amazed that Google Earth gives that level of resolution, but it was dead on.
My drive has the same problem. My parents used to park their motorhome in my drive with the front wheels off the ground, but then the front wobbles and is not secure. Since then, they always use ramps and then use the jacks to raise the last little bit.
