Lexington 283TS quality

Considering moving from a 5th wheel to a class C motorhome, and came across a 2008 Forest River Lexington 283TS with 23K miles. Does anyone out there have an opinion on the quality of this make and model? Any other considerations? Thanks in advance.
  • I have the Lexington 270 GTS 2006 and love it. I’m the original owner and have had no significant issues with the motorhome. I haven’t had an issue with slide leaking or anything like that. I think the only issue I did have was a minor adjustment on the pantry slide out rack, but that is it. I did change out the TV to a newer slimmer and lighter TV though. All in all, I’ve found it to be a great RV. As long as you keep up with the maintenance (as with any RV) it should hold up great. Mine still looks like new. Fuel mileage could be improved, but what I get is expecte for a V-10 E-450.
  • We have a 2650 2013 and we are very happy with it. The only thing that we did was install a fan in the kitchen area. We bought it as an x rental from CanaDream, low mileage and full history .

  • I have a 2009 Lexington 283 GTS with 64K and have not had any problems with it at all.
